Journey to Reverse Diabetes by “Deep Approach”

Journey to Reverse Diabetes by "Deep Approach"

Yes, you all read correct, the fact, which was once thought impossible or NON SCIENTIFIC, now medical science, based on the positive outcome of thousands of patients, have evidently accepted that “DEEP approach” can help to reverse Diabetes (Type 2) or at least can put diabetes in remission for many years. So what is this DEEP approach?

D: stands for diet.

Based on the practical experience and data published in various esteem medical journals, it is now proven that stopping Milk and milk products like Curd, Paneer, Ghee, butter, Cheese etc., helps to reduce and reverse the diabetes. Because all these milk and milk products have high amount of Growth hormones and insulin like growth factor, which are good for those animals and the respective animal’s kids and not for our health and our children. These Growth hormones and IGF 1 factor, in animal milk and products generate inflammation, induce insulin resistance in tissues due to which insulin is not able to open the cellular door (receptors) for the glucose which leads to increase in accumulation of glucose in the blood glucose and also cause rise in lipids in the blood. And it is evidently observed that, once diabetics stop milk and milk products, insulin resistance reduces and our own insulin starts working efficiently, resulting in lowering of excess of glucose and lipids in the blood. Secondly, diabetics should stop eating all fast food, white bread and processed food, oily, deep fried food, white rice etc., as all of these are rich in sugars and known to have high glycemic index. Third, everyone should reduce oil consumption, it should not be more than 10 to 15 ml per day per person in the family. (Our Honorable Prime minister, Shri. Narendra Modiji is inspiring all of us, through his various talks and speeches, to reduce daily oil consumption by at least 10 percent and do regular exercise, so that, by 2050, we can achieve the target of “Fat Free Fit India”, a need for the strong nation). And last but not the least, everyone should eat their meals on time, never skip the breakfast, do not do long fasting, unless supervised by your doctor. Chew the food slowly, so that saliva is mixed properly in each morsel and helps to break down carbohydrates properly, slow eating also helps to overcome over eating.

E: Stands for exercise.

Coupled with the dietary controlled, when simple exercises like walking 45 to 60 minutes or as per the individual’s ability, in the morning and post meals slow walk for 5 to 7 minutes, dramatically improves digestion and assimilation of food. It reduces rise in glucose spike, which generally happens in post prandial hours. Diabetic should eat a small banana or simple one dates before their exercise, else there are chances of getting low sugars (Hypoglycemia) which itself is dangerous then high sugar levels. Do all kinds of exercise, like fast walk or swimming or cycling coupled with weight training exercise and followed by deep breathing relaxation exercise. all these improve muscle strength and correct utilization of energy and burning of fatty tissues and achieving optimum weight. Exercise also helps to fight back the stress and helps to stay young and fit

E: stands for evidence based herbal medicines.

Number of research papers have proven that herbs like Cinnamon, Fresh Ginger, Turmeric, Berberis aristat, Amla, Giloy, Neem, Bel leaves, Arjuna, Guggulu etc have potency to improve insulin sensitivity and help to reduce excess sugars and lipids in the blood. Further, many studies also have proven that, these herbs, when consumed under medical supervision of an Ayurveda doctor, are safe for long term use too.

P: Stands for Proper night time sleep of 7 to 8 hours.

It is very much evident that, in spite of full diet control and exercise, in may, sugars are not under well control, due to one sole factor and that is, lack of proper night sleep. Insomnia or disturbed sleep, increases a stress hormone, called Cortisol, which not only increases sugars but also a blood pressure and makes bones and muscles weak through various pathways and toxic chemical reactions. Many patients’ spouse or family members complain that person is having very loud snoring, disturbing sleep of others. This snoring is an indication of a disease called, Sleep apnea, in which air way passage in chest and pharynx is partially obstructed, leading to inadequate oxygen pulling, ultimately leading to incomplete handling of glucose and many other metabolic process in the body, leading to rise in sugars and blood pressure, lipids and weight. . Though certain herbs like, Bramhi, Jatamansi, Tagara etc. can help to improve your sleep, but better to consult and identify the correct cause of disturbed sleep and treat.

So friends, if D stands for Diabetes then D is also For DEEP to put diabetes in remission.
